The LAB Inc. is a Copenhagen based band of professional, exquisite and ambitious musicians, where it is not forbidden to think big, make music for adults and draw inspiration from names like Chaka Khan, Rufus, Dirty Loops and Bruno Mars.
The music style is Twisted Pop: A stupendous, high-energetic and playful concoction of Pop/Soul/Funk - sometimes also taking inspiration from jazz fusion.
Paying homage to the mantra "More is More", The LAB's distinct hallmark is a complex composition of beats, breaks and surprising chords − all fronted by Linda Andrews' charismatic power vocals.
The music is created by a passionate joint effort with no musical limitations, allowing each band member to shine to the max, while at the same time challenging both themselves and each other in a super tight, super potent expression.
Linda Andrews is probably best known as former Danish X Factor winner, where she impressed the judges and the rest of Denmark with her mind-blowing performance. During the years, Linda has released a number of albums and singles under her own name as well as being the leader and front figure of the largest Danish gospel choirs. Now she is back stronger than ever with her new band The LAB Inc. (LAB = Linda Andrews Band):
Kristof Jasik (keyboards/arrangement), Søren Nørup (guitar), Andreas Hatholt (bass guitar), Mikkel Villingshøj (drums), Eliel Lazo (percussion), Linda Andrews (vocals/backing vocals).
The band's powerful debut single Feelgood Party was released on August 26, 2022 - followed shortly after by the super charged single Recharged (October 7), and Ultrasonic (November 25). In 2023 the band has released the singles Changes (March 10) and Fearless (June 9).
