When legendary Danish group The Baronets celebrated their spectacular 50th anniversary at the end of 2014, they decided to celebrate this milestone with a new release: The maxi single '50'.
'I Gotta Know'
The Baronets started back in 1964, where the boys visited the local barbecue after practice. Here they listened to the jukebox and Elvis singing 'I Gotta Know'. This song has especially followed Lasse Helner through all the years, and now it is here in Baronet's own version, with Lasse on lead vocals.
'Treat Me Right'
Written by Lasse Helner and Frank Lauridsen, this song became a big radio hit in 1967. It has since become the band's signature tune, and is included on '50' in a new recording - with the original crew from '67!
'To Love Somebody'
One of The Bee Gees' great hits - now recorded by The Baronets - in memory of an amazing concert at the Tivoli Concert Hall, where Baronets was the opening act for Bee Gees.
